The City of Glenville is an example of a rural community with values of a small town. We promote a town which looks to grow but in a way that is not detrimental to our citizens.
Our town supports area schools and Glenville State College as we feel in this informational age, it is critical our citizens are well informed. We believe the educational opportunities offered here will and does meet that need.
We believe we are an effective government with firm fiscal management. Our mission is to experience progress, promote revitalization, value integrity, show determination and excel always as servants to the citizens of our fine town. We believe we are proactive rather than reactive and believe strongly our citizen's are our greatest resource.
We believe in serving our community and we are committed to finding solutions in a timely manner. We align our values with our words and actions. We are committed to one another and to our community. We will always take responsibility for our decisions and actions. We value those who choose to live, work, and go to college here. We also welcome the involvement and commitment that produces a greater quality of life with our citizens and government working together.
